Melt Me

Melt Me is a Desert Cafe in Terminal 21 that we visited because we did not want to go shopping any longer.

We were immediately taken with the images on the table of this desert - and unfortunately it was not as good as the advert - but you would have to admit how good it looks though.

I did enjoy the Iced Coffee though

Wat Dit Hongsaram - Street Food

After visiting Wat Dit Hongsaram I was in need of a bite to eat.

So I looked for the closest place and it was a street stall in front of the Temple.

I don't know if there is much to tell the food stalls apart but it is always spicy and not expensive.

I have to admit to simply pointing at what I wanted and then asking for some 'nam'. It was all very nice, thank you.

Sushi Mania

Sushi Mania was somewhere that I visited instead of going home - it was quite convenient that it was very close to the Airplane Graveyard and Wat Si Bun Rueang.

It was a very small Japanese Restaurant and I thought that it was quite reasonable to find out towards I live.

Unfortunately it was not busy at all and I felt a little uncomfortable eating Japanese food in an empty restaurant - maybe I was early?

The Sushi was very nice though - strange how our perceptions change because of other people....

Eden's

Eden's was a small cafe that I came across when I was out for lunch and I was extremely surprised.

I was suddenly in the UK - a stuffed bird in the arches?

And the theme continued through out the Cafe. They are small but they were still full up with predominantly younger people and and on writing this I find that Eden's is a place where the young and trendy hang out -

they are correct, I felt old here.

The theme continued into the kitchen area at the back where they were busy preparing food.

On reading the reviews on Google I then find that I should have tried the lemon pie. Then I found that it is also gets a good review

My stop was a coffee stop and I will certainly go again.

Coffee by Fah

Coffee by Fah was a wonderful find in the chaos of a Sunday morning market near Bangkapi. We had gone for our healthy walk around the Nawaminphirom Park (Bueng Lam Phang Phuai). I chose to sit here whilst the family went to explore the market and I was in need of a coffee - so I ducked into a 'quaint pink Cafe'.

I was welcomed and sat down for an iced coffee - it was very strong.

Then it all got a bit out of hand and everything that I saw being delivered to all the customers around me looked so good - so I waited for my family to come and then we started ticking the boxes on the sheets

and moved to sit outside.

And the happiness kept on coming... the traditional Thai breakfast was very nice.

And we brought in a some food from the market outside as well.

BUT the winner had to be the drinks - my daughter found the red soda wonderful

and I found the 'Cha Yen' - Thai Iced Tea.

The complimentary Chinese tea was a good idea as well. We would certainly pop in for a drink if we went to the busy market again.
