Beware of your food

What did I find recently? 5 Thai foods that you need to stop eating on a daily basis NOW.

 1) Fried foods - is your food cooked in reused oil increasing the chances of cancer?

2) Cooked food with cheap oil...

3) Thai Iced coffee - the amount of sugar in this is big (this I had to stop)

4) Thai jelly desserts - don't like these...

5) Koi Plaa - raw fish, nuff said...

Verasu - vistacafe

Vistacafe is a cafe in Verasu which is actually a store selling those

kitchen utensils so I am always happy to wander in BUT my hands are firmly in my pocket because the utensils are not cheap.

But for a coffee and a bite in air-conditioning it is a good idea.

Mae Cuisine

Mae Cuisine was a restaurant that we came upon at the end of the road

with a beautiful view.

It was certainly a busy place for the food as well. We loved the decor in the room - the plates on the wall and the ceiling.

The menu was quite large with a selection of dishes which were not expensive but different.

For example these were the spring rolls.

Then we were extremely happy when there was also a choice of Thai deserts to have - all very nice.

We went again....

On the Table

On the Table is a restaurant that we visit more often because they have a lovely selection of dishes with a mix of Thai and Western food.

We do tend to choose more of the Western food though than the Thai influenced food.

It is always a pleaure to visit here.
