Lord of Coffee

Lord of Coffee is closer to our home than the centre of Bangkok,

in fact I cycle there after having my haircut!

What a pleasant surprise - seating outside and I chose this because it was relatively cool this time. The coffee and the cake were both very nice and complimented each other - the coffee not too strong and not in need of sugar (or maybe it was the cake).

Was so impressed I bought some of these for my daughter.

Petit Peyton Traveloque Cafe

Petit Peyton Traveloque Cafe was somewhere which I gratefully stumble upon when I was attempting - Bangkok Walk 5 - Rattanoskin.

Wow it was impressive - friendly service and happy staff and I was only there for a coffee!

The Cafe is very European in design - I only noticed the name when I sat down!

Certainly going back there for lunch - the food looks attractive and I read that the Panini is made there and it's a hostel.

Cafe Moda

We had seen Cafe Moda a number of times but it was in the evening - today we were there in the afternoon - bingo, it was open.

It was not just a coffee shop though - the shop had a plethora of clothing, decorations, bits and pieces and more.

So don't go in with too much money because you will be sure enough to come out with lots of things!

And the coffee - the latte was wonderful - smooth and just a little sweet. We also received a Hokkaido Dessert to accompany it.

We found a very special place here - thank you.

Somewhere in Bangkok

Somewhere in Bangkok is somewhere I found when I was looking for the Robot Building - click here for more information

Somewhere in Bangkok is a quite new coffee shop - not sure whether it will be successful in this area though?

The cappuccino was very nice - strong and sweet - just what I needed.

I would visit here again and I did enjoy the decor. So when I visit the Chinese Cemetery around the corner this will be my next stop.

And I liked the message on the wall.

Unicorn Cafe

Unicorn Cafe is somewhere that I stumbled upon when collating information for writing things about Bangkok, putting them on Pinterest and the writing for this blog. But I can't remember which article.

So i decided that this may be interesting for my daughter - everything is about a unicorn!

Talk about cool (if that's what you like) and decoration - it was devoted to the unicorn.

The fascination lasted for 5 minutes and then I looked for a menu for coffee and this is what I got. Ordering the coffee and looking around there were children here for a party and this was certainly a great place BUT I was fascinated that there were female adults there as well - maybe I am missing something with the unicorn?

Then coffee was simple and the ice-cream was something that my daughter did not like. I was happy that she did not want to dress up because you can do that here as well.

We finished and walked around the corner - finding that there was Zone A and Zone B for the Unicorn Cafe...

So if you have a need to see the unicorns (and there are a lot of them) or you have a child who dreams of this sort of thing then this is a very real place that you must visit.

Rabika Coffee

Rabika Coffee is a common brand of coffee shop in Bangkok.

I mostly find them at petrol stations.

I was quietly impressed. Air-conditioned and strong coffee.

Eden's

This is a second visit for me - before I made a Bangkok Walk into China Town.

It is almost like a old English Cafe. It is small and compact, there is not a lot of space inside - again I stopped having something to eat because it was busy.

I usually sit at the bar or I sit outside with my coffee. A fascinating place with a lot of character.

I am sure that my mother had these dishes.

Cafe Amazon - Siam Park

Cafe Amazon is a popular Cafe throughout Thailand and I visit one regularly when I am at work.

This one is very different because you are sitting next to a park and the one which I visit is in a building!

Also it is adjacent to the Chulalongkorn University so expect there to be a lot of students. AND I like the coffee at Cafe Amazon - quite strong and nicely served, real cups!
