iBerry... another visit

iBerry (Thailand's very own ice-cream) is very tasty and the price is reasonable.


There are a number of these outlets scattered in Phuket.


The two we visit are in Phuket Town near to the Indy Market and in Central Festival.

Green Forest Restaurant

Green Forest restaurant was a surprise - driving up 'Monkey Hill' in Phuket Town.  It is called Monkey Hill because there are a plethora of wild monkeys which are on the hill - there is apparently a Fitness Park on the top of the hill?


There was a wide selection of Thai dishes to choose from and the view was good so we did not mind supping our drinks whilst we waited.

We had a lovely view.

The food was certainly worth the wait - delicious.  A point if interest is the small Chinese Shrine opposite - Wat Charoen Samanakit, very interesting.

Sri Panwa - Soul Food

A pleasant surprise - the expresso was smooth and a hint of bitterness, without any sugar.  So I had another one, now where did I leave my tripod?

Mee Ton Poe 1 (Phuket Town)

Seen this very popular restaurant a number of times and never had the guts to try it out.  It was when my friend Jo (a professional food critic from the UK) came that I went.

Well on the proviso that I could visit the Coffee Circle Boutique on the opposite side of the road.

I was impressed - I had the 'Guey teow rad na gai' - delicious.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

Shhh - don't tell mummy.


There are a number of these outlets throughout Phuket.


The spicy chicken is good and so are the custard tarts!

Pizza Express

Shh - don't tell mummy but I take Jemma to Pizza Express sometimes in Phuket Town. There are a number of branches throughout Phuket but we go to the one near to Robinsons in Phuket Town.


The children's meal is good value and Jemma eats it all up.

I like the chocolate milkshake and I always finish it!

Dino Park - a cocktail

I have always written about how much my daughter loves to go and play Dino Golf here.


We were waiting for Nadia (a baby elephant) to arrive at approximately 7:30 pm and we chose to sit at the bar, Jemma had a coke with Connect 4 and I had an incredible coconut cocktail - delicious, good after a round of golf.

The Chalet another visit

Superb


The food is delicious, unlucky for them there are very few guests BUT our service is superb.


The Beef Massaman is my choice.

Jemma loves the small playground.

If you can choose to take the long tailed boat to the Floating Restaurant - simply an experience.


We chose this time to stay on the mainland.

Jo came with us this time, and Jo (who is a food critic) love the foods - see you again Jo.


 

Fried curly potatoes?

These funny looking things are really potatoes put into a screw and unwound.


Delicious.


Until I found that they are sprinkled with MSG 
- they were really delicious.


I had these at the market at Sapan Hin.
