เจ้ณีข้าวมันไก่

เจ้ณีข้าวมันไก่ is a local Thai restaurant just around the corner from us so we pop in here. There are a great number if dishes here but it is imperative that you come here with someone who can speak Thai.

We had a plethora of these dishes that were put in the middle of the table and we all just 'tucked in'.

It was a very no-descript typical local Thai restaurant - with some water flowing 

and the usual serving instruments.

Suzuki Coffee

This is a place that I visit if I need a coffee as it not far from work and it's reasonable coffee at a good price.

Sometimes I have a sandwich or the chocolate balls.

Chill Ve'r Coffee

Chill Ve'r Coffee was somewhere I found on the way back from the Winter Festival.

It was wonderful and a site for sore feet with a tired back so it was exactly what I needed.

I didn't meet anyone there and there did not look like there was very much trade.

BUT if you are in the area I would go there again - a nice location.

Rossano's

Rossano's wa a place that I visited for lunch - not my usual place but this was to meet a friend and on his recommendation.

It was a very Italian felling restaurant and it is apparently very popular in the Expat community because of this.

So I had a had a glass of white wine for lunch - all very nice thank you.

Fuji - Bangkapi Mall

Fuji is a chain of Japanese food and we have visited a number of times - previously in Phuket.

Fuji is a simple Japanese chain restaurant and there's not really much more I can add to this description.

It was convenient and in air-conditioning - personally we choose the specials - it was avocado something when we visited here.

Ratana Boutique Hostel and Cafe

I found Ratana Boutique Hostel and Cafe purely by accident - I was on a lunchtime wander... 

Rantana is obviously quiet when there are not that many guests at the hotel - in fact I was the only person in there for the 45 minutes that I was there for lunch.

The Cafe felt European and the food was very Thai - I had their breakfast - there was not that much of a choice on the menu - in fact much of what I asked for first was not available, but it was certainly convenient.

 

Bangwan in Bangkapi Mall

In The Mall at Bangkapi I found Bangwan. Here I chose to have a peanut butter and nutella toasted sandwich...

and for pudding - ice...

Not traditionally Thai but maybe this is a version of their 'fast food'? and was surprised Wongnai has a review.
