Our daughter wanted an elephant ride and my wife Chuen chose to take Jemma to the Bang Pae Safari in Thalang.
The reason that Cheun chose this safari was that we could have lunch at the Peang-Prai Resort & Restaurant.
The food was great - we had Thai food and ate it Thai style - putting all the dishes in the middle and sharing them. The best fried rice with prawns I have had was in this scenic location. The staff were lovely and so attentive - we visited the Gibbons and the Waterfall and came back for coffee and ice-cream - the Cappuccino was tasty and beautifully presented.
I don't need to be asked if I want to return.

Hey Tim. We just ate here for the first time yesterday. Food good, service seemed a bit slow though. Free dessert (fried banana, but done in their own style). We'll probably go again. And it will be blogged soon! I made a new years resolution to visit some new restaurants for the blog's sake :)
