How many restaurants are there in Phuket?

I suppose if you really wanted to give a good view of all of the restaurants in Phuket you could do it professionally?


There are a lot that I have not visited - just visit Willy's site and his list of restaurants.


I have a lot more to go...

Nong Sow

If you are not troubled by few animals scurrying along the floor and the tables are not tidy. This is the best place where I have eaten freshly made Som Tam. 

When I shared this with my colleagues at work they were surprised that I had been in such a restaurant - this was certainly one which was for locals.

This was a fabulous pah dook foo that I have tasted during my stay in Phuket. 

The other dishes were also very good - we are certainly going back.

but it is a restaurant for locals DO NOT expect everything BUT quality Thai food.

Big Chicken

This is a restaurant which we have been to more than once - it is a little outside of Phuket Town (next to Phuket Country Club) and is always a pleasant lunch for us.

The restaurant serves a selection of different Thai traditional dishes but the Chicken pieces is why you choose to come here.  The freshly grilled chicken is always what we come here for AND the sticky rice - a wonderful combination.
