Baan San Raak - closed?

Well this was certainly a surprise....

After visiting here a number of times we did not think that this would close AND it was also a pleasure to visit. So if anybody knows anything more please tell us as we miss it.

The restaurant was comfortable.

The deep fried fish was superb

and now it's closed?

Cindy Beach Pancakes

No this is not the name of a bar in Patong! I do wonder how many hits that I got because the reader thought that they were getting something else - here there are pancakes and they are good.

I always have the pancake with fresh banana and chocolate sauce...

Dinner is taken at The Beach Bar - 100 meters South.

The Mangrove Panwa

We visited The Mangrove Panwa because it was so close to our house and it was Christmas so Jemma and I were in a very happy mood and I can't really remember a lot BUT the satay was good and the coffee was strong. 

BUT the prawns for the salad (which was bursting with flavour were not of a very good quality).

It was better than our first visit.

We will return - it was also a very nice touch that Jemma received a Christmas present from the staff.
