We popped in here whilst we were waiting for the Bunny Sweet Home to open.

And frankly speaking I am glad that none of us were hungry and the rabbits were great fun.

 

ก๋วยเตี๋ยว บางสะพาน

 ก๋วยเตี๋ยว บางสะพาน was somewhere we visited because it was on the home and it was quick and cheap. 

Tasty as well. Not a lot more information than this.

The Little Kitchen

The Little Kitchen is a restaurant which is on the connection between the Central Plaza and the Central Chidlom. It is a place that I have walked past many times to go shopping at the Central Chidlom. Imagine my surprise when we chose to stop there! It was outstanding and it was not as expensive as I had assumed that it would be.

I always have the green curry.

and my wife had a Thai dish but I cannot recall the name.

We shared the pudding and we have since been there again and it is extremely convenient for me.

ชมจันทร์ ซีฟู๊ด

 ชมจันทร์ ซีฟู๊ด is a restaurant near our home so we chose to go here - it is also referred to as Chomchan Seafood.

It is a popular restaurant for the local people here and it was a lot of fun.

Fascinating that a small local place like this uses computers to order their food and it's not more common yet? And the food was certainly not for the tourist.

The mango salad was wonderful but extremely spicy for me AND this was the one that wasn't!?

The grilled fishes were wonderful.

BUT the gaeng som was (and never is) my choice but apparently it was very good.

Mae Sri Ruan - ก๋วยเตี๋ยวไก่แม่ศรีเรือน

Mae Sri Ruan - ก๋วยเตี๋ยวไก่แม่ศรีเรือน - is somewhere which we have visited a number of times and unfortunately there is very little that I can find out about it. 

It is a large restaurant with an inside an outside. It seems to cater for predominantly Thai people - but this usually make the food more tasty...

It was delicious - these delicious morsels - take a leaf and fill it with the bits are mind blowing (I will add the name later).

Then the Sakoo Sai Mai - were a beautiful compliment - we had to ask for more.

To top it all the drink was served with frozen ice in the glass already and the bottle on the side.

My daughter was happy with the fried chicken - although I did not try them.

Then a bowl of something. The coffee out the front wasn't bad either.

เจ้ณีข้าวมันไก่

เจ้ณีข้าวมันไก่ is a local Thai restaurant just around the corner from us so we pop in here. There are a great number if dishes here but it is imperative that you come here with someone who can speak Thai.

We had a plethora of these dishes that were put in the middle of the table and we all just 'tucked in'.

It was a very no-descript typical local Thai restaurant - with some water flowing 

and the usual serving instruments.

Mae Cuisine

Mae Cuisine was a restaurant that we came upon at the end of the road 

with a beautiful view.

It was certainly a busy place for the food as well. We loved the decor in the room - the plates on the wall and the ceiling.

The menu was quite large with a selection of dishes which were not expensive but different.

For example these were the spring rolls.

Then we were extremely happy when there was also a choice of Thai deserts to have - all very nice.

We went again....

ครัวแม่ศรีเรือน สาขาสุขาภิบาล 3  OR Mae Sri Ruen is a popular chain Thai restaurant which we have visited a number of times.

Always a good selection of dishes here and the prices are very good - not a lot of nationalities here though. This means that the food is prepared for Thai people so prepared for the dishes to be hot!

This Tom Yam was too much for me - although I did mange to pull out the prawns - the soup was blistering!!

Happy to have my beer iced...

I was happy to get an ice cream and coffee at the end of dinner though.

There is the possibility of sitting outside or sitting inside - for us the outside is more comfortable.
