Sainom's (Paseo Town) closed

Sainom's is a Desert Cafe on the second floor at Paseo Town - similar to After You but cheaper but not the coffee.

You certainly do not come here if you are looking to lose some weight...

I am not sure about the the bread underneath this one.

And then the cornflakes on this - but I did not try these...

CHATA speciality coffee

CHATA speciality coffee was somewhere that I stumbled upon when I was looking for some brief respite from the chaos of the Chinese New Year Festival. And what a surprise it was!

It was what seemed like a home with a coffee shop behind it. The entrance was simply organised and I briefly thought that I was somewhere in Europe.

Especially with the floor tiles and the chess set...

The Cafe was actually at the back and down the side of the house - a bit puzzling but I did not care. BUT then I read that the house was a hotel - Baan 2459. And this was a beautiful place to stay, another time...

Never mind I went for a coffee - but chose not to sit inside.

Sitting at the front of the house it all felt a bit 'colonial' - a green lawn, a chess set, a gramophone (with a digital speaker below) 

and then the bicycle.

There seemed to be a lot more here than I first thought - so I would have to return

Mae Sri Ruan - ก๋วยเตี๋ยวไก่แม่ศรีเรือน

Mae Sri Ruan - ก๋วยเตี๋ยวไก่แม่ศรีเรือน - is somewhere which we have visited a number of times and unfortunately there is very little that I can find out about it. 

It is a large restaurant with an inside an outside. It seems to cater for predominantly Thai people - but this usually make the food more tasty...

It was delicious - these delicious morsels - take a leaf and fill it with the bits are mind blowing (I will add the name later).

Then the Sakoo Sai Mai - were a beautiful compliment - we had to ask for more.

To top it all the drink was served with frozen ice in the glass already and the bottle on the side.

My daughter was happy with the fried chicken - although I did not try them.

Then a bowl of something. The coffee out the front wasn't bad either.
