Harmonique

Harmonique was a wonderful find on a walking trip though Bangkok - John Bush and more.  

What an amazing place to find! Walking along the back streets and then a sign and an old building 

- time for a coffee then (next time food). 

It clearly has a lot of history to the restaurant and unfortunately I can find nothing. 

There is a tree growing in the building and the restaurant is very popular with the Chinese Tourist currently.

Definitely worth visiting to have a look at the number of historical artifacts which are scattered throughout the rooms.

ซิน ซิน - Xin Xin

This was certainly a wonderful revelation to find. This was a Traditional Chinese restaurant which was clearly a family business and were happy welcomed by what was the mother of the family.

And family was exactly how we were treated. There are a great many of these small places scattered throughout Phuket and they are definitely worth visiting if you want a truly real experience of Phuket dining.

So how was the food? It was magnificent and we have since returned. The noodles were certainly freshly made and it was almost the best deep fried pork in Phuket, but that would be ซินซิน บะหมี่เบตง.

Then the simple fried rice was also freshly made - a clue to this was the quality of the condiments that came with it. 

Then I read on the posters how long that this small shop may have been in Phuket but has links to Facebook.

And they had WiFi...
